Utilizing the current technologies of the Dura Ace R9100 and Ultegra R8000 road components, the Shimano 105 R7000 groupset offers added versatility and improved performance for a wide range of cyclists. The shifters are ergonomically refined and match the sleek design of their Ultegra predecessors, while the mid-length rear derailleur and 11-34 teeth cassette expand the gear ratio range.
The highlight of the 105 R7000 is the expansion of the standard range with hydraulic disc brakes, which have the usual good properties of disc-specific Shimano components. The flat calipers are compatible with Ice Technologies pads and brake discs from a diameter of 140 mm to offer the most powerful Shimano 105 group ever.

The Shimano 105 ST-R7000 STI lever features a revised internal shifting unit that results in a slimmer, more ergonomic control element that matches the design of its Ultegra R8000 counterpart.
