SHIMANO Disc Brake Pads - B05S-RX | Resin
SHIMANO B05S disc brake pads made of resin and equipped with steel base plates. 50 % more wear resistant than its predecessor B03S. Recommended for Deore, Alivio, Acera and other disc brake calipers.
Resin brake pads are quieter than metal pads, but offer slightly lower performance and have higher wear. Metal pads have a longer service life than pads made of synthetic resin, are more fade-resistant and offer consistent deceleration in dry and wet conditions. Metal brake pads may generate noise during braking.
